I made according to recipe and didn't have any problems with it being dry. I did halve the reciped as there is only two of us. Big mistake, making it tonight and will make full batch! Boyfriend gave a great review and he makes his own mac & cheese!

I made this for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day. We both were immediately in love with this recipe! It was so delicious, with so many varied flavors. We both considered it restaurant quality. The only changes I made to the recipe were baking it in a 9 x 8 pan, and adding shrimp and scallops. Again, it was over the top delicious!

Wow, this cake was absolutely fantastic! I made it as directed. I did try adding a lay of oats to the butter, sugar, cinnamon mix at the bottom to give it a "crisp" texture. I didn't add enough, will try more next time. I also was out of nuts which I love. With the nuts this cake would be perfect! My 17 year old son love it too. Thank you for the wonderful recipe!
