Almond Lemon Chicken

Thought this was a tasty and different recipe compared to my family's usual fare, which is pretty spicy. The lemony sauce complements green beans and asparagus, too.

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Whole family loved this one. Added a bit more cheese, cheddar and peperjack. Used Bill's Blue Cheese dressing from this site. Great football party recipe. Served with crisp veggie sticks.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

A wonderful comfort recipe. I left out added salt, and used canned crescent roll dough to make dumpling strips, since the dough is already flat. Next time, will add a little celery and carrots. Thanks for recipte!

Honey Wheat Sandwich Rolls

Soft, slighty sweet rolls that were fantastic as hamburger buns when sliced and lightly toasted. I divided dough into 8 balls and baked on a baking stone for buns just the right size. I gently rubbed a stick of butter over them when they were very hot, just out of the oven. Added just a bit of great taste, and "soaked" into the bun so when they had cooled there was no greasy feel.

Brown Bean Chowder

Corn Dog Muffins

Delicious! Especially with a bit of pepper jack cheese mixed in with the cheddar! I made my usual corn bread recipe instead of a mix. Tastes surprisingly like corny dogs, especially when accompanied by mustard or ketchup. A fast, fun dinner.

Mimi's Smoked Salmon Chowder

My family loved this recipe. I used a can of salmon, drained, instead of smoked salmon as that was what was on hand in the kitchen. I seasoned it with some smoked salt from a gourmet shop. I used an immersion blender in the pot on the stove instead of a blender. A pinch of cayenne pepper enhanced the flavors without adding heat. A keeper! Thanks!

Coconut-Lime Chicken with Grilled Pineapple

This is a great recipe. For such a quick and easy prep, the flavor layers are delicious and complex. My husband loved it, and he thinks most chicken recipes are boring. I substituted a sweet white wine for the tequila in the marinade, and omitted the brown sugar. Next time I might add a little cumin to the marinade. Sauce was a snap in the food processor. It would be good on many other dishes, including vegetables. Kids loved it, too.
