I well I guess you could say, everything I learned about cookin I learned from my Grandma, and I am happy to say I am still learnin from her. Now my mother on the other hand taught me all I know about cake decorating. The only thing better than servin a meal your family loves is to be the one to make and decorate a birthday cake for your family, their smile goes on forever!!
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook everything!! I love to cook indoors, outdoors, you name it I love to cook it!!!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Grandma's chocolate pie, it doesn't get any better than this pie!!
My cooking triumphs
Was a wedding cake I made for a friend. It was three layers and each layer was covered in hand make red roses. It almost killed me but when I got in bed about 27 hours later I had a new found respect for cake decorators who do it for a livin.
My cooking tragedies
Well, like most women, it was the first time I decided to make homemade biscuits, which by the way was shortly after I got married. Needless to say the biscuits made good shootin targets for my husband and his friends that day.
