Hello ya'll! My name is Melanie and what I'm all about right now is getting back to basics. I want to learn to make as much as possible from scratch so I can save a bit in the pocket but also to put more love in my cooking. I have a current cooking challenge that I'm attempting, get at me for details or maybe you'll have some super advice that would be much loved :O) God Bless Ya'll and STAY HOT!!!!! Chicken, chicken, and chicken. Lol. I LOVE chicken, and my family teases me about it every chance they get. It's all good though cuz they all crave my chicken recipes anyway! lol. The times that warm my heart the best is when I make Puerto Rican dishes. Rice and Beans, Steak and Onions, etc. I have a picky 5 year old and the food she inhales with no question is anything latin. I have some fabulous family recipes that I would love to share so again, get at me! This one was cute. I love pizza burgers! My boyfriend was a skeptic, an annoying one at that, because he couldn't imagine a burger without lettuce, tomatoe, onion, mustard... yadda yadda yadda. When I threw my famous pizza burgers together he was hooked and now asks for them regularly! Gee let's see. Could it be forgetting to cover the blender and cleaning banana off my cabinets, or slamming down a ketchup bottle in frustration and having it explode all over the kitchen, or the first time i tried to make white rice.... it didn't explode but let's just say it might as well have. lol. There are too many funny stories to tell but the cooking triumphs make it all worth the while :O)
