Peanut Butter Noodles

This was amazing! I followed the directions exactly, except used regular onions instead of green. We will definitely make this again, often. Next time, we'll try tofu in it.

Very tasty! I used teriyaki sauce instead of soy, and we enjoyed it. Served over brown rice.

Tuscan Soup

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2009
This soup was delicious! The hubby raved about it. I followed the directions listed, except that I used the whole can of evaporated milk and added garlic. It was creamy, yet pretty light. It was easy to make and came together quickly. We will definitely be making this soup many times in the future.

Portobello Mushroom Stroganoff

Reviewed: May 27, 2009
This was really good. Like many reviewers, I added garlic, red wine, and beef broth, and only added about 1 cup of sour cream, which was definitely plenty. Tastes great and is filling!

Japanese Zucchini and Onions

This was a pretty good side dish. It definitely just tasted like the sauce-- the veggies were pretty covered up. It did remind me of what you get in a hibachi restaurant. I would probably reduce the sauce next time.

Sour Cream Cheese Casserole

Reviewed: May 14, 2009
For what this is, it's pretty good. It is incredibly easy to throw together, and the topping is really good. It's a good recipe if you don't mind using the canned soups and you don't have a lot of time.

Smothered Mexican Lasagna

Reviewed: May 14, 2009
This was a wonderful, easy, quick recipe! The only change I made was to use Gimme Lean meat substitute instead of turkey. I used whole wheat flour tortillas, and I thought they soaked up the juices well without getting too soggy. I also added shredded pepper jack cheese to the top (to me, casseroles like this always need SOMETHING on top). This recipe is definitely a winner, and I'll be making it again!

Holiday Chicken Salad

This was a huge hit! I left out the bell peppers because I don't like them and added about a teaspoon of poultry seasoning. WONDERFUL chicken salad!

Swimming Angels

This was good. It was not too sweet, but it felt heavy. I added mushrooms. I personally thought it needed more soy sauce, and added it to my serving. We'll probably make it again, maybe reducing the peanut butter a bit. It was very peanut buttery.

Cake Mix Cookies VIII

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2009
This is a good cookie considering how easy it is to make. They turned out very soft, so you might really like them if you are a soft-cookie person. I used Devil's Food Cake mix and white chocolate chips. I baked them for 11 minutes each, and they turned out great. Thanks for the recipe!

Awesome, and very tasty! I had to add a little extra olive oil, and had to cook the potatoes for forty minutes. We'll definitely be making again!

Happy Shrimp

Yummy! I followed the directions here (all except adding tomatoes), and this was delicious! We served it over thin wheat spaghetti. Next time, I'll double the sauce and serve it over angel hair. My husband and I loved it!

Hearty Split Pea Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2009
I made this per the instructions. The taste was okay, but it was incredibly thick, even after adding extra liquid. My husband liked it better than I did. If you are into extremely hearty soups, this may be a good choice, but I don't think I will be making it again.

Excellent recipe! I added Worchestershire, soy sauce, and liquid smoke to add some extra flavor. We cooked them on the George Foreman for six minutes. We'll make this one again!

Sausage Stuffing Balls

I loved these! They were even better the next day. We also made regular sausage balls, and these were much more popular. Great, easy recipe! I also used a whole box of stovetop, like others recommended. It was great!

Delicious Chicken Casserole

This was easy and good comfort food. My family really enjoyed it. Next time, I will add more veggies-- onion, mushrooms, peas, and carrots. I think that would make it more substantial. Good base recipe!

Smokin' Scovilles Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2008
We. Love. This. Chili. I always make it in the crockpot. I brown the meat, and then throw all the ingredients into the crockpot on low for about eight hours. I have never used habanero. Once I used jalapeno, and it was still pretty spicy. Now, I make it either with or without jalapeno, depending on my mood. Last time, I didn't have any beer, and so put in the equivalent amount of water. Still tasty. It's a fantastic, easy, healthy chili that I recommend to everyone.

Tuna Noodle Casserole from Scratch

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2008
We love this recipe. I increase the sauce by an extra half because the casserole seems too dry without it. Like others, I add chicken bouillon to the sauce, and I use a mixed vegetable medley (peas, carrots, corn, etc.) instead of just peas. This is a great comfort food recipe that turns out wonderful every time.
