My name is Shauna, I am 27 years old.I just finished my MSc. in plant biology at the University of Waterloo (Ontario, Canada). I would LOVE to open my own gluten-free and allergy aware bakery.
My favorite things to cook
Everything! healthy that is -- I'll make a few things that are unhealthy, but if something is just dripping with fat I stay away from making that dish for a meal -- fatty foods tend to make my clothes shrink.
Except seafood (I'm allergic) and anything containing wheat, barley rye or spelt products (I'm a celiac)
My favorite family cooking traditions
Polish tradition. Cabbage rolls, pirogies etc. YUM!
Also lots of traditional family baking.
