My father was from North Dakota (Ireland decendant) a meat and potatoes man. My mother was from Louisiana (French & Cajun decent.)
My cooking triumphs
"It's All Good!" 19 deep fried Christmas turkeys for the elderly in Pleasanton, CA through Rotary. Chicken Boulya for over 300 people for a mid-west reunion. Fish boil for 100+ people using my turkey fryers.
My cooking tragedies
Having beer, wine or coctails before I start cooking. Absolutely takes your heart out of what your are doing.
