About this Cook
I am the mother of a one year old whom is not very picky and loves hot food! My Pseudo-husband enjoys the good food that I cook but not being a tester! He's happy to tell me what he thinks about everything. I've recently gotten a love for cooking and I want to try everything! I like dinner ideas that are quick, easy, and uber delicious.
My favorite things to cook
I like to make everything. As long as I've got someone there to eat it.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Sugar cookies at christmas time. Banana or Zucchini bread. Also Pumpkin bread and hot chocolate when it's cold.
My cooking triumphs
Perfect no bake cookies, fudge, peanut brittle, baked chicken, chili, and an assortment of made-up recipes by me.
My cooking tragedies
Oatmeal raisin cookies. I can't seem to get them right.

Vanilla Crepes
Everything in this recipe was excellent. I used several different types of filling. My family (including my two year old) loved it!

Spiced Pears and Pomegranate
An excellent way to use pomegranate. I usually make them the night before I need them and let them sit for a while in the fridge. They are good as a pancake topping or a short cake topping. Whipped cream is good on top of it too. Also good to use in oatmeal.

Grandma's Corn Pudding
I'd never had anything like this and was looking for a different kind of recipe for our holiday corn dish. This worked excellent. Every one raved about it and I suspect I'll be making it many times to come. In my versions I used 4 eggs and made sure that I drained the can of corn before I added it. Again, it was excellent.
