About this Cook
I am a stay at home mom to a beautiful little girl. I married my high school sweetheart over 8 years ago. I take pride in attempting (& sometimes succeeding at) many activities. I feel you should never stop learning.
My favorite things to cook
I like to cook everything! Be it a big Sunday breakfast for my husband, a nice dinner for friends on game night, or a special salad for myself- I am happy in the kitchen.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Dont really have any, but I am trying to establish ones with by daughter, like making Peanut Butter Christmas Mice for Santa!
My cooking triumphs
Knocked my husbands socks off with my first attempt at Chicken Parmesan (Thanks allrecipes!)
My cooking tragedies
So many stories...so little time. When referring to these I just say... "Well at least it is nurishment for our bodies."

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style
This was my first time roasting a whole chicken. I found the recipe to be easy and delicious. Though I will say I didnt really see anything "sticky" about this recipe, the flavor was fantastic. Thanks for helping me achieve a beautiful meal that I was proud of and my family loved.

Cream Cheese Corn Bake
I loved this. So yummy. I had to stop myself from eating it while the oven heated up. Corn is a favorite of my hubby and daughter, so Im always looking for new (but easy) ways to serve it. Im glad I found this!

Saucy Lima Beans
These were great. I didnt measure my onion, just chopped some up. Also, I omitted the dill because we dont care for it. Delicious! I will certainly make these again!
