My favorite things to cook
I love the slow cooker. I enjoy trying fun and exciting new things. I like experimenting with asian food. A lot of the time I'll just gather some ingredients from my pantry and just throw something together. I am looking for allergy safe recipes. My boyfriend's son is allergic to dairy, eggs, and peanuts.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Goutta, a yummy breakfast sausage. Huge Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter dinners.
My cooking tragedies
My first Thanksgiving dinner was a disaster, instead of coating the turkey bag with flour, I used powder sugar. (wasn't paying attention to what was in the cannister) I couldn't figure out why the skin was sticking to the bag until I tried to make my gravy, and it never thickened up and I FINALLY tasted it. It was hilarious.
