This was a very pretty dish. I really enjoyed the simplicity of the flavors. A little salt and pepper did wonders. I didn't add the broccoli (seemed like it had enough veggies) I also used dried basil and whole wheat pasta. Both seemed to work just fine. Definately a keeper!

Beans, Greens and Garlic Soup

This was an easy and delicious soup! I used green onion which was great. I also used whole wheat pasta. I threw in a sliced carrot for color and it ended up a very pretty soup. I will definately make this in the future!

Blueberry Scones

Delicious! I did have to add a little flour to shape the dough. I also used 2% milk. I added some lemon juice to the milk for flavor then realized I had made buttermilk. oh well. they turned out excellent. Had them with some scrambled eggs and a cup of coffee! Excellent breakfast!

Breakfast Casserole

This is ok. I did make a few changes. I used english muffins (1 & 1/2) I did toast them first (as per others suggestions) and I didn't add any meat. I had to cook at 375 degrees and it was still a very soft casserole. I think it is a pretty healthy easy breakfast (I ate with fresh fruit salad) but it is not something I would cook for a special occasion or company.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Excellent! So easy to follow. I did add pecans (what I had on hand for nuts) the cinnamon topping really adds something to this recipe. I did end up with 12 muffins and a little batter left over. Maybe my muffin tins are smaller but I thought they were standard size. Oh well, just more to enjoy!

Black Chocolate Cake

Excellent! I made half the recipe. Which worked out perfectly. Only two of us in the house. I made it in a loaf pan (couldn't find my round) I had too cook it a little longer, about 45 min because of the pan shape but it came out great. I sprinkled a little powdered sugar on top and it was beautiful! Very easy to slice and very moist. I will definately make this again!

Savory Deviled Eggs

Very very good. I was a little worried that these would be "too different" for a traditional thanksgiving dinner but these were just perfect. Just a little change from the traditional, everyone enjoyed them. Thank for the recipe!!

Creamy Spiced Coleslaw

Way too much mayonnaise! That was all I could taste. I tried this recipe again and cut mayo in half and added extra of the other ingredients. (except cabbage) Much better!
