About this Cook
I am a professional with very little time to spend cooking. When I have the time I love to try new foods and cook for guests.
My favorite things to cook
My favourite things to make are breads and fried doughs, like Castor Tails and Corn Fritters. I also like trying ethnic recipes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Haha...KFC.

Bacon Baked Beans
I did as some others suggested and cut down a little on the sugar. I was disappointed that I couldn't really taste the apple. My boyfriend said, "There is just nothing to them." I felt they tasted too much like beans I could buy canned. I will still look for another baked bean recipe.

Chocolate Cream Pie I
This was a nice pie that was easy to make. I served this to my guests with Dream Whip and grated chocolate on top and they enjoyed it. Because it is a basic recipe, it can be "jazzed up" with a banana sauce, or strawberry sauce drizzled over real whipped cream and with some real fruit. Thanks for the recipe--it is fast and easy in a pinch!

Broccoli-Cheese Corn Bread
Delicious! I usually serve corn bread to compliment breakfast, but the cheese, onions, and broccoli make this a treat for lunch or supper time. I did as the other reviewer suggested and made these in a muffin tin. Instead of the cheddar I used Tex Mex Nacho 3 Cheese blend. Very nice! Thanks for this recipe!
