This is a modified version of the Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast on this site. I find that it turns out even better this way! Also, I've seen people say that the liquid called for in the original recipe doesn't cover the entire roast - it doesn't need to! Be sure to place your roast fat side up in the slow cooker, that keeps it moist and the flavor will spread through the meat on it's own!

This was easy. I've never used Sherry in cooking before but it really added depth to the flavor of the soup. I made this for a present for my future mother in law and she loved it!

Delicious, easy and it makes a great treat around the holidays.

These were horribly messy to put together and it's nearly impossible to pack down the layers. I could only get a half cup of chocolate chips into the jar (not the full cup the recipe calls for). Once these are all cleaned up they look nice - but there's about half a cup too much filling listed to fit in the jar!

I do this recipe every year and it's a huge hit! Today I decided make these into pumpkin muffins and they turned out great. I used an ice cream scoop to insure that they were even and I baked them for about 25 minutes. They were delicious and were gobbled up immediately - no left overs!

These are alright. Real corn dogs taste a lot different though.

I made this as a present for the Holidays - I ended up doubling the amount of goods within the jar (by adding a second layer of the items) due to the fact I was using quart and not pint jars! Jars are now out of season and I didn't want to go out and search for pint jars. Looks like everyone is getting double the soup this year!

This was a pretty quick, easy and tasty way to do broccoli.

This was a nice and easy soup for a weeknight. I would have given it 4 stars but it was a little bland for our liking. It needed a little something.

This turned out great! I only gave it four stars though because I had to follow other reviewer suggestions and cut the orange juice in half. It turned out perfect this way.

I used this on chicken and it turned out alright. It wasn't as moist as my usual chicken which really had me disappointed. I've never used a brine before and I was hoping for something moister. The flavor of the chicken was lacking as well - the skin was delicious but the bird itself didn't have any flavor from the brine or seem to have retained any moisture. I did as others instructed and put the bird into the oven right out of the brine and it didn't seem to help. This was my test chicken to see if I'd want to use the brine for my Thanksgiving turkey. I don't think I'm going to use it. I'm still on the fence - I might combine this brine with my usual method of roasting and put some butter under the skin to keep it moist while roasting. The meat turns out much more tender and moist this way.

Great remedy for a sore throat. Try using Orange Honey - it makes this tea really tasty!

This was super easy and everyone loved this for dinner with some bread on the side. I will be making this often! I did as other reviewers suggested and cooked the broccoli for 20 minutes and mashed the broccoli instead of blending it. The only note I have is that when you cook the broccoli in the stock for 20 minutes a lot of the stock evaporates. I had to add an extra can to compensate. Otherwise it was just broccoli mash.

This is a good quick waffle recipe. We had most of it plain and added some chocolate chips for the birthday girl! She loved it.

Delicious and super easy! I didn't have baked potatoes on hand so I just microwaved some. I also added some flaked potatoes and cheddar at the end to thicken the soup (because we like a thick potato soup!) and it was to DIE for. Everyone is raving.

This is one of my favorite ways to have chicken! You can sub your favorite spice mix for the spices called for in this recipe and it still turns out tender and delicious.

Yum! I used ground turkey instead of stew meat, browned it with the onions and paprika, and threw it in the slow cooker with the golden mushroom soup. It smelled so good when I got home! I added the cream cheese and I happened to have some sour cream so I tossed that in there as well. This is some of the easiest and best stroganoff I've had at home!

This was really good stuff - best baked mac and cheese I've made yet! It's still missing a little something - maybe next time I'll add more seasoning (added garlic, paprika and hot sauce this time around) or try some ricotta cheese instead of cottage cheese.

Delicious. I was short on time so I combined it all on the stove top in about 10 minutes.
