Right now Im an at home mom,whos trying to enter back into the work world.im happily married to my best friend,and I have 2 boys.Around here theres hardly any places to eat out so I cook a lot.i get creative and my husband does not mind being a crah test dummy for me.I try to make the traditional things I grew up on more healthy.Sometimes it works and sometimes we eat fried chicken! Im a very southern cook.I make awesome greens and black eyed peas! I make whimsical desserts too.Its some of this and some of that and its yummy! Making biscuts with my Memaw is my favorite tradition.Since the new baby my 6 year old has taken over making them with her.I have pictures from him being 2 years old making them with her.And Im old enough now to be privy to her dressin recipe. When I was 17 my parents seperated.That Thanksgiving I needed some normalcy,so I inivted my Dad home for the day and I made a turkey and all the fixin's! TO this day my mom still says it was a stressful day but the best Turkey shes ever had! The first time I made sausage gravy it was so bad the dog wouldnt eat it! My brother and then boyfriend ate it like champs,but when I sat down I was ready to vomit! It was paste with chunks of sausage in it!
