About this Cook
I have always made about 15 varieties of Christmas cookies throughout the years. I dabbled in other baked goods but in the last couple of years baking has become my passion. I have always liked to cook and try new things. We would have company over and I would try a new recipe and my sister was always worried it would not turn out. Most of the time it did.
My favorite things to cook
I am always trying out new recipes and I love so many of the recipes I get from this website that I cannot decide what my favorite things are to cook.

Cheesy Broccoli Soup
I have made this recipe numerous times and my nephew asks for it each Christmas as a gift. I make it for employees at work and they think it is the best. I do follow one reviewers suggestion by cutting the Velveeta and add Cheddar Cheese. It is fabulous.

Mom's Rum Cake
This is an absolutely delicious rum cake. I made it for a party and everyone thought it was wonderful. The frosting is a bit tricky, just be cautious. delightfulD
