These bars were pretty good. I liked that they weren't too sweet. My own disappointment was that there are no spices included. I added a little cinnamon to the apples before adding the sugar mixture, but next time I will add more cinnamon and maybe some nutmeg. These were good, but definitely not savory in their original recipe.

Wonderful! So refreshing on a warm summer day. I made this take to a party and ended up eating a lot of it myself. Oops. Definitely a keeper.
