This cake was just a tad dry, so I'd add a little milk next time. But my family gobbled it up!

Great recipe, but you have to watch for flareups with the drippings. And I can't figure out why the picture shows chickens sitting on top of beer cans when the recipe calls for splitting a chicken in half and using a marinade of beer.

I make a similar recipe but I don't use the dry bread. I prefer just to use whatever bread I buy at the store that week and I don't use any broth. I also finely chop 2 apples and add it to the dressing. No thyme or marjoram either. My family loves this and says I never make enough! Adding to this...why would you put eggs i nto the dressing? It's going to come out like bread pudding. My family likes "chunky" dressing!
