I am a former teacher turned stay-at-home mommy. I am happily married with two beautiful kids - 3 years and 8 months. I enjoy trying new recipes, but being a picky eater myself, I stick with ingredients that I really like. I love to try new variations on old favorites. My grandmother is an excellent "from-scratch" cook and my whole family has always enjoyed large family gatherings with her cooking at the center of it all! I make some really great casseroles and chicken dishes. My husband is my in-house food critic since my kids are so little. I've only made two things that he didn't like. However, after a long day of work, he's very easy to please!
