Delicious Ham and Potato Soup
This soup was so good I didn't need to add cheese. I omitted the salt because I used a country cured ham steak. We raise two hogs every winter and the ham steak was sure delicious in this soup. Next time I will add carrots.

David's Yellow Cake
My husband said this is the best cake he ever ate. His mother only cooked from scratch so I take that as a huge compliment. He thought the texture of the cake was perfect as well as the taste. We raise our own chickens so the yolks were very yellow.

Quick and Almost-Professional Buttercream Icing
I thought this was excellent just the right amount of sweetness. It was not quite enough to cover a 3 layer cake. Very easy to make thank you.
