About this Cook
Hi, I'm a beginning baker and I'm always learning something new. I always look for a challenge to take my skills to the next level. I also bake with my siblings. I love to bake with my siblings because I believe that four hands are better than two!
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake any kind of pastry, Cookies, Cakes, Brownies, Bread, Scones, and muffins. I also like to cook dinner for my family, Pasta, Rice, Big Casseroles, or something we all can enjoy.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favorite cooking traditions would have to be cooking together, teaching each other different ways to cook/bake. Just generally passing on knowledge.
My cooking triumphs
My cooking triumphs would probably be when found out I could make Raman all by myself:)
My cooking tragedies
My tragedies are many. But, one that stands out in my mind is when I was baking biscuits with my brother, We were just finishing them up when I was just pulling them out of the oven, I had forgotten that we didn't need to grease the sheet for this recipe, so the biscuits come off real easy. So I pulled the sheet really fast and tilted a bit and the biscuits flew all over the floor! All that work! Thankfully there was like 5 biscuits left so we enjoyed those as much as we could.

Carrot Chocolate Chip Cookies
These cookies turned out great! They reminded me of little tea cookies or muffin tops. I omit the raisins and that's the only thing I changed. They were a little bit sticky to get on to the cookie sheet, but once in and out of the oven they were perfect.

Grandma's Sugar Cookies
I agree with the previous reviewer that these taste like cakey snickerdoodles and I wouldn't like it any other way! I made them because I ran out of vanilla and I needed sugar cookies, also I used softened butter instead of shortening, sour milk for the buttermilk and rolled them in organic sugar. So yummy! Highly recommended.

Cinnamon Brownies
Cinnamon and brownies two of my most favorite things and this recipe mixes them perfectly! I omit the nuts and added chocolate chips instead so they were nice and chocolaty too. Highly recommended!
