Usually, I teach elementary school in a Lancaster, PA school district. However, my husband and I just recently relocated (temporarily) to Milwaukee, WI for a project that my husband is working on for his company. This means that I now have more free time to experiment in the kitchen and try new things! I love using my slow cooker, because it easy and quick for week night dinners. I've never made a slow cooker recipe that I didn't like! It's almost fool-proof! Homemade salsa. We grow our own peppers and can our own salsa every fall using other vegetables from a local farmers' market. It is a lot of work, but it is worth it. We then have a yearly supply ahead of us! :D They happen.
