I am a 23 year old elementary education student, who will be graduating (FINALLY!) in December. I am getting really into cooking as of late and thinking I should have gone to culinary school instead. All of my personal food critics seem to agree. I have found a true passion for cooking, fresh, to freeze and most importantly to entertain. I love to wine and dine my friends!
My favorite things to cook
I love making my grandmother's chicken breast piquant recipe... it is the best recipe in the world, hands down. I have submitted it, so give it a looksie! It is always a crowd pleaser. I also found the asiago sun-dried tomato pasta on this site and have fallen in love. I am currently working on my grilling skills and enjoying that as well.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom used to always kick me out of the kitchen until I finally made it know, I like to cook, I want to cook, and I am really good at it. Now she gets it and we cook gourmet meals side by side in the kitched all the time. We also spend countless hours baking during the holiday season together.

My cooking tragedies
When I get to overzealous with spices... I LOVE spicy food and forget not everyone has the same tastebuds as I do, so when everyone else is dying from the pepper overload, I know I have gone too far. I have gotten better about this with time!
