I love to cook and bake for all my family and friends. I started cooking very young, but I enjoy making a wide variety of foods. I love to bake, I like a good challenge. I do a lot of confections and chocolates and have a small business selling them. My husband and I love that we don't have many traditions. One Halloween might be a vegan buffet for everyone, while the next might be burgers and chicken sausage. I managed to bake my own wedding cake. It was five layers, each a different flavor, none of them white. The cakes, icing, decoration, everything turned out beautiful. When I first started making chocolates, I was learning to temper chocolate and had to throw away countless batches of filled caramels that had bloomed.
