I'm a student at James Madison University where I am studying Marketing. I love cooking and eating!!
My favorite things to cook
Anything baked Chicken n' Dumplings Nachos
My favorite family cooking traditions
Constantly trying to make the perfect nachos.
My cooking triumphs
The perfect carrot cake! It turned out moist and delicious!
My cooking tragedies
Red Velvet Cake-- Iced it when it was still warm...the icing melted and brought out the red dye in the cake. I bet you didn't know cakes could bleed...

Ghirardelli(R) Individual Chocolate Lava Cakes
Wow. They look and taste really amazing and they aren't too difficult to make! I followed the recipe pretty much exactly except I used semi-sweet ghirardelli chocolate chips. I probably should have waited about 10 min to eat them so the "lava" wasn't so runny but I couldn't wait!!

Banana Crumb Muffins
I was impressed with how awesome they looked, then I ate one and wow! yum! So moist and delicious. I made a few changes based on reviews: canola oil instead of butter in the batter, add cinnamon and nutmeg to batter, extra cinnamon on top. Also added more banana. Will definitely make them again.
