I'm a wife, a mother of 5 kids, an artist and photographer, as well as a techie girl. I had to learn how to cook fast and in large amounts if I wanted to keep up with my family!

Thai, Japanese, Asian Fusion, (New)Mexican, Southern, and Italian foods are my favs. Cookies are my forte in baking but I have a real curse with cakes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I grew up in the Deep South and my grandma's 'Special Breakfast' is one that I plan to pass down to my kids.
My cooking triumphs
My Plum Sauce... every single year (usually around Thanksgiving & the Holidays) I get calls from relatives all around the country who just have to have the recipe, yet again. My Half-Wheat Cinnimon Rolls were a
personal triumph for me because I never thought I could get something like that right the first time!
My cooking tragedies
Every single cake I have ever baked! My poor kids have come to expect anything when I try to make one.
