I'm an electrical engineer with 2 kids (an 8 month old and a husband). I have little time to cook at night and many distractions going on around me. Anything fast and simple that tastes like it took a lot of time! Making pumpkin rolls every Thanksgiving and cookies every Christmas. Not many to speak of. I'm still newer to cooking so I stick to easier recipes and don't experiment much on my own. Any triumphs that I have would have to be attributed to the others that gave me the recipe. I don't really have many disasters in the kitchen, but I would like to branch out more and experiment with some stuff on my own. I'm sure once I start doing that, I'll have many tragedies to tell about.
