About this Cook
I'm a graphic designer and I cook almost very night. I like to make something different for most meals. I've had a 7 course gourmet Christmas Dinner Party for 8 for over 30 years now. I've got 3 purebred cats and I love to travel.
My favorite things to cook
Appetizers are my favorite. Everything form chicken liver pate to scallops with an avacado cream. I also love to make pasta dishes and Chinese food.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I make a huge tin of chex mix every Thanksgiving that lasts through Christmas time. My chicken salad is everyone's favorite. I actually have it with mimosas on Christmas morning!
My cooking triumphs
A decadent white chocolate raspberry cheescake is my best dessert.
My cooking tragedies
I made an almond chocolate souffle tart that was so bad I actually threw it out. Of course I gave my company each a serving before I grabbed their plates and tossed it. What a disaster! We all agreed, it was terrible.

Chicken Pot Pie IX
I've made this recipe over and over again. Really easy and full of flavor. I used broccoli instead of peas. I also used skim milk and it comes out terrific! Great meal for a cold winter's night.

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker
I thought this was way too salty. I browned it before putting in crockpot and thickened the sauce with cornstarch added some shiitake mushrooms to it. It was just okay.

Basic Crepes
I love IHop German crepes. This recipe makes even better crepes. I read the other reviews and mixed wet ingredients, then flour. I added sugar, vanilla and a little extra water. Made 8 perfect crepes. My husband loved them. Best crepe recipe ever!
