I have been married to David for 17 years.We have one daughter,Sarah and 1 grandson-he was born a month early,just in time for Halloween 2008 .We are very big on family and friends, add some food to that and life doesn't get much better. I like to cook all kinds of foods. My daughter says we never have the same thing twice.I tell her I like the challenge,if the meal turns out well it is time to move on to something else. I love cooking for Halloween. I always make a big pot of chile or soup.I also make lots of cookies and cupcakes. Many of my friends and family come over and eat and go trick or treating. Some of us stay home with the little ones and hand out candy. I made homemade tamales all by myself! I was so proud, they were perfect!! I never thought I could do that. One of the first things I tried to make was a Ham and Broccoli bake.It was pretty. Sadly, I should have taken the brown plastic off of the ham after I took the clear plastic off.(I didn't know it was there!!) My husband's family kept picking little pieces out of their mouths. No one told me until months later.
