Strawberry-Sauced Crunchy Fruit Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2009
It was pretty good. WAY to much sauce. I only used about 1/2 of it. I also used a mixture of fruits.

Shrimpcargot

I wanted to say that it was the most awesome....what can go wrong, cheese + mushrooms + shrimp. We used the large mushrooms and would definitely use the smaller next time. It was just too large for an appetizer and messy too!

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2008
I failed this recipe- should have baked them without the sauce as they did not get crispy enough. If I make them again I will bake first and then put the sauce on!

Wonderful Waffles

These are a bit of work. I couldnt get the crispy/soft texture right when cooking. Two and a half minutes was about right for my electric waffle maker. My daughter had them Christmas morning with ice cream and chocolate sauce and whipped cream on them. What a Christmas treat for a little girl!!

Fabulous- we loved them. Added the lemon zest as suggested and rolled them 1/8 inch. Iced some and put sprinkles on others. Preferred them iced. Will make next year!

Strawberry Spinach Salad I

I have madet this three times- I used the balsamic vinegar and cut the sugar down by more than 1/2. I recently served it with spinach, almonds, goat cheese and cut, cooked chicken. Very good!

Molasses Sugar Cookies II

Fabulous!!! I made a couple of changes. I only had butter so made them with butter versus shortening. I also made a mistake and didn't allow the melted butter to cool. This made for VERY soft dough, so I had to add about 1/2 cup of flour. We rolled them in red and green sugar for Christmas. I big hit in my house.

Addictive Sweet Potato Burritos

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2007
I loved this recipe. I added a bit more spices and mixed the refried beans in with the sweet potatoe mixture. One night I served it as part of a casual dinner with vegetarian friends. I had a a "burrito" bar that included this filling along with a more traditional beef filling, sour cream, cheese, salsa, chopped tomatoes, etc. Everyone got to assemble their own which was fun for the kids. Everyone was happy!

Harvested Chicken Stew

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2007
I cooked the chicken in the onions and garlic first in the soup pot. I then added the remaining ingredients adding parsnips and mushrooms to the list. I also added Mrs. Dash seasonings (husband has to watch salt intake) while it was simmering. I also finished with a dollop of sour cream in each bowl when serving. Served it with bread and everyone loved it!
