Pies and Cakes Making Christmas cookies together. Traditional southern Red Velvet Cake that came out incredible. Strawberry-Rhubarb pie with some of the best strawberries I've ever tasted (they came from a farmers market in Lake Tahoe). My mother-in-law's mother said she loves Strawberry-Rhubarb and it was the best one she ever had. Nothing too dramatic but I have made some bad shoe-leather meat dinners (sorry honey).
