Cajun Spiced Pork Chops

Flavor is an understatement with these! I doubled the spice topping (I didn't have confidence the current amount would cover 4 pork chops) but other than that I followed the recipe exactly and ended up with a GREAT meal. I love spicy food, and this pork was just that!

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken

This wasn't a bad recipe, but I think I expected a different taste than what was the end result. Again, it wasn't bad, but I think there could be a lot of ways to improve it. This chicken would be great on a salad though!

Traditional Mashed Potatoes

I am not usually a mashed potato person, or really any kind of white potatoes, but this recipe is very simple and good. The potatoes come out with a buttery and creamy texture with absolutely no hint of being dry. I can stand to eat these which is a big deal for me!

Chocolate Yummies

I couldn't try these personally (peanut allergy) but I brought them to a BBQ and they were a huge hit! In fact I have been asked to make them anytime I go over to my friend's house. It's amazing how a simple recipe can be this popular!

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

I make these every year for fall/winter and I always have to make them at least twice because everyone keeps requesting them! These cookies are so flavorful and yummy, that just having one isn't an option. Make sure to carry the recipe when you bring the cookies places, everyone will want it!

Banoffee

I spent time in England a couple years ago but the first time I had banoffee was in the British West Indies and I fell in love with this dessert. Since I got home I have been searching for a recipe so i could enjoy it stateside, and this one is delicious and easy! I have also tried it with an oreo crust in place of graham cracker. There is no bad way to make it or eat it :)

Golden Sweet Cornbread

I absolutely love this bread, the taste is very good, very sweet. I only wish it stayed together more instead of crumbling. But other than that it is a GREAT recipe. The flavor is so good I find that I don't need butter if I don't want it.

Sweet Potato Bread

I have never heard of sweet potato bread, but I love sweet potatoes served anyway so I figured "why not?!" This bread was very good. The smell after it came out of the oven reminded me of a gingerbread but the orange peel gave it a sweet taste that went well with the spice.

Sugar Cookie Frosting

Very sweet, but delicious frosting! I used margarine instead of shortening and I also only added 3 tbls of milk as I wanted a thicker consistency to the frosting. I am usually not a "frosting" person, but I LOVED this and found myself licking the beaters after mixing.

Soft Sugar Cookies IV

Made this recipe for the first time to bring in for an office potluck and everyone tried a cookie and nobody had a bad thing to say. I used butter flavored shortening and I made them smaller and got about 4 dozen. The only complaint I have heard is from my fiance who is upset I didn't leave more cookies home! Very tasty cookie for such an easy recipe.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

This was super easy and very good! I listened to some other reviews and split up the sugar 1/2 brown and 1/2 white. I also doubled the recipe and cooked only four chicken breasts. I poured the whole mixture over the chicken and baked it like that. They came out great, very flavorful! Paired it with vegetables and brown rice.

Pizzelles II

This is the exact recipe my familt uses when we make pizzelles. We like soft pizzelles and this recipe allows them to stay softer rather than crunchy. My grandmother was the only one who knew how to keep them crunchy because that is her preference. I use melted butter, and a full bottle of anise along with a tsp of anise oil. It sounds like too much, but after they are cooked you will notice how much more flavor they have.

Magic Peanut Butter Middles

Fantastic cookie recipe. Couldn't make enough. I did roll the entire cookie in sugar instead of just using the glass dipped in it. They came out great, very chocolatey and best when still warm and gooey.

Fra Diavolo Sauce With Pasta

This was one of the best pasta recipes I have ever had. I like spicy pasta, so next time I would add more crushed red peppers in than what the recipe called for. Great with Garlic Bread!

Apple Pie Muffins

Very good. Everyone LOVED them. Definitely will be making these more often. I used chiquita to go apples and chopped them up instead of peeling whole apples, saved time and was easy to measure amount.
