About this Cook
Married to the easiest man to cook for. Two teenagers who aren't always the easiest to cook for. As I get older, I am enjoying cooking more. It isn't as rushed now that the kids are older and I can do more different things.

Desserts are by far my favorite. I also do a lot of crock pot things and casseroles.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Home-made cinnamon rolls on Christmas morning. Grilling with lots of family and friends around.

Hearty Lasagna Soup
Relatively quick. Easy to "customize", too. We added a bit of cottage cheese to the bowl when we served it. Everyone in the house loved it.

Apricot Muffins
I substituted a jar of apricot baby food in place of the oil for a bit more flavor. The kids loved them. Even the pickier teenagers grabbed two!! Not too sweet.

Soft Sugar Cookies IV
Terrific basic cookie recipe. Good just as is, but a great blank canvas for tweaking. Add spices, different sugars, "mixings".. whatever.
