I love experimenting with new flavors and spices! My dad used to sprinkle oregano on the cheese in a grilled cheese sandwich. When I was 18 yrs old, I ordered a grilled cheese in a restaurant; it tasted so bland - I sent it back because they forgot the oregano! I love to cook for the WOW Factor. It has got to look fantastic, too! I made (2) Derby Pies to serve after a holiday meal and my brother tasted a slice and promptly went into the kitchen and hid the second pie to take home. Put a smile right in my heart! I learned a long time ago, never to add an egg directly in to my recipe... once added a rotten egg and had to throw out everything!
