Chile Garlic BBQ Salmon

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2009
My family loved this recipe! I used 1 tsp powdered ginger instead of fresh. I also placed the fish on top of sliced red peppers and baked it in foil in a 425 degree oven for 20 minutes. Opened the packet up for another 5. Served it with rice pilaf and sliced tomatoes and cucumbers.

Grilled Salmon With Orange Glaze

This is very sweet, but my family loves it! It's always nice to have a fish dish that everyone can agree on! My daughter especially loves the glaze on grilled chicken.

What can I say that hasnt already been said? What a great recipe!! I'm not a big chocolate cake person, but this one has me nibbling slices (and if properly eaten over the sink, the calories dont count!)

PHILADELPHIA Farmhouse Chicken Dinner

This was very easy to make. I added a bit of white wine to the broth. Gave it a nice, sweet flavor. I'll definitely make it again.

Spaghetti Pie III

This was an unexpected delicious surprise! I knew it wouldn't be bad with all the good reviews, but I never expected it to be as good as it was! I seasoned the meat up a bit with garlic, some sauteed onions, basil, etc. My husband and son devoured it! I'll definitely make this again. It's perfect for making ahead of time and heating up when I get home from work!

Chocolate Oil Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2008
I'm giving this a 3 star for taste. It's a good chocolate cake. However, I attempted to bake it in 2 9-inch rounds. I was trying to make a chocolate layer cake. I buttered and cocoa-ed the pans. Unfortunately they stuck badly and werent usable (although my family enjoyed my "mistake").

Southwestern Egg Rolls

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2008
wow! These are worth the work! I actually tripled the recipe and made a dozen egg rolls. I substituted cilantro for the parsley (I had the cilantro in the fridge cause I made the Cilantro Cream sauce for dipping). I used egg roll wrappers and deep fried them. They didnt take nearly as long to fry but it may have been because my oil could be too hot. Didnt effect the incredible taste! I cant wait to serve these to my Bunco group! :-)

Amy's Cilantro Cream Sauce

Whenever I see a recipe on this site with so many positive reviews it usually turns out to be incredible. This didnt disappoint my expectations! WOW! I used this to dip the Southwestern Egg Rolls, but it's gonna be delicious with raw veggies. What a wonderful, fresh dipping sauce!

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2008
When I see a recipe on this website with so many wonderful reviews, I MUST try it! Well, this certainly lived up to the reviews. I had one 7.5 lb roaster. I made the spice mixture as listed (cut down on the salt). I rubbed the spices on and under the skin. I let it sit in the refrigerator for about 6 hours. I put it in a 250 degree oven. Everyone that said their house smelled great wasnt kidding! It was ready after 3.5 hours. I let it sit (cause rest of dinner wasnt finished). I really had my doubts until I started to carve it. It was SO juicy and incredibly delicious! My (17 yo) daughter felt it was too spicy, but I loved it! I made a chicken salad sandwich from the scraps of leftovers for my lunch today. WOW!

Banana Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2007
After reading all the reviews, I really experimented with this recipe! I only had one banana, so I used it and a bit of apple sauce (in addition to the pumpkin). I didnt have any honey so I used real maple syrup (not the pretend stuff!). The maple syrup gave it a great "background" flavor. I also added some chocolate chips (because according to my family: "everything tastes better with chocolate chips!"). They were baked as muffins (so they actually took less time). In addition to the 12 "regular size" muffins, I also had enough batter to bake 3 large muffins (they obviously took a few minutes more in the oven). The house smelled WONDERFUL from these muffins too!

Spicy Bean Salsa

OK. I just had to add my opinion. This is the BEST thing to bring to a party. I've given this recipe out too many times to count! We even keep a stash of all the canned ingredients to be able to throw it together quickly.

Herb, Garlic and Bacon Pork Loin

This was incredibly good! I followed the recipe. I used onion wedges and roasted along side of the meat. I have a convection oven and the bacon got a little brown but I did end up broiling the last 5 minutes. Made roasted carrots and mashed potatoes as sides. My family loved it!

Flourless Chocolate Cake I

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2007
I made 2 for Passover Seder dessert. wow! No problems at all with the texture or removing from pans (used the dip pan in hot water trick). I did use half orange juice half water for extra flavor. Topped with a dollop of homemade whipped cream. Just so creamy... kinda like a fudge brownie! YUMMY!
