I am a pregnant Mom of a 2 year old. I am always looking for ways to make something healthier that also tastes good for my son because he is so picky! I love to draw/paint/create....even w/ food (especially desserts).
My weekness is chocolate!
My favorite things to cook
cookies (easiest),pancakes, muffins, mostly dessert stuff, wutever looks interesting. sometimes I like a challenge, and experimentation. I've tried making things out of fruits....flowers..cutting fruit up in neat ways...wutever
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas Potluck, and $th of July Barbeque pool party. I always do something cool and different every year and always get lots of compliments.I usually leave with an empty dish.
Memorial Day. My whole fam usually goes to my Grandmas and has a cookout. yummy burgers and such.
My cooking triumphs
-4th of July Pool Party made a jello pie that came out just like the picture I'd seen online. Tasted delicious and was gone in about 20 min! (I ate 2 slices).
-I made these swedish tea cookies or "snowballs" for a Christmas potluck and they were gone in the first 30 min.!
-Made BBq Ribs for supper and they came out so tender! Fall apart in your mouth tender and juicy! I felt so proud!
My cooking tragedies
-For my son's first birthday I made the jello pie I had done so well on last time....it came out horrible and looked like ! Didn't taste that bad, but wasn't tempting either.
-Made a cake for a party and I totally messed up on the frosting. It looked like barf cake because I had put food coloring in too make a rainbow swirl effect...didn't work.
-Made angel food cake cupcakes for a birthday party and burned most of the batch. They came out all sunken in the middle and were like eating little sponges, but they tasted good. Only saved about half a dozen.
