Strawberry-Mango Mesclun Salad
It's amazing that so few basic ingredients can come together to create such a delightful taste and texture experience. The only changes I made: I doubled the mango and strawberries and halved the cranberries, and I sliced the sweet onion thinly on a mandoline rather than chopping it. The only change I made to the dressing was to use olive oil instead of canola. The dressing came out wonderfully thick with a great sweet/tangy taste. I will use a little less sugar next time, but it was delicious as is. Thanks!

Warm Flourless Chocolate Cake with Caramel Sauce
I'm sorry to be the hold-out here, but I made this exactly as directed (sans caramel sauce) and we found its' taste and texture to be very unpleasant. I am rarely disappointed with a chocolate dessert, but this one had a grainy, artificial taste. Prior to this cake, I didn't think a dessert could be too rich, but this was a strange combination of excessive richness and unpleasant bitterness. After three of us tried it with strawberries and cream instead of caramel sauce, we threw the remainder away.

Perfectly Moist Irish Wheaten Bread
This is exactly the bread I loved while visiting Ireland. Our group of four lived on cheese and brown bread from Jack's in Killorglin, County Kerry and were disappointed not to be able to bring extra home. Now I can make it myself -- despite the fact that I have always been a total failure at bread baking!
