Best Toffee Ever - Super Easy

The title says it all! Super easy and very good. I added 1/4 t salt and 1 t of vanilla after I removed it from the heat along with 1/2 cup of chopped pecans. Yum!

Jen's Heavenly Egg Salad

This is the perfect egg salad! The only thing I did differently was to add a teaspoon of sweet pickle relish and just a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Delicious! Can't wait to make it again.

Grilled Tilapia with Mango Salsa

What a great meal this was! The grilled tilapia had such a wonderful flavor and the mango salsa was so refreshing, an interesting mix of flavors but they all worked. I added one avocado and 2 roma tomatoes to the salsa as well. Very Good!

BBQ Chicken Pizza

I thought this was really good, I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because I did change the recipe somewhat. I grilled the chicken and added bbq sauce at the end of grilling. I also used green peppers and grilled them along with the chicken to make them more tender. For the sauce on the pizza, I used a combo of bbq sauce, ranch dressing and wing sauce to tone down the sweetness. I used 2 pouches of pizza crust mix, topped it in following order...sauce combo, cut up chicken (tossed in a bit more plain bbq sauce) cilantro, green peppers & green onions and cheese. Yum!

Singapore Noodles

This is a great dish! I put the chicken and pork in a marinade of soy sauce, br sugar and garlic for a few hours first for extra flavor. I also used sesame oil and cut the curry back to 1 tablespoon. Can't wait to make this again.

Hummus III

Very Good Hummus!!!! I took the advice of other reviewers and used only half the amount of tahini, added cumin, 3 cloves of garlic and 1/2 the liquid in the chick peas. You won't be disappointed. Try this recipe. I served it with Pita Chips from this site. YUM!

Pita Chips

This was soooooooooo good, I followed the recipe almost as written except for the chervil, didn't have on hand so I took another reviewers advice and used 1/4 t. of onion powder and 1/4 t. of marjoran. Yum! To make cutting the pita pockets eaiser, I used my kitchen shears. Worked so slick. Also, I used onion flavored pitas. Serve with Hummus lll from this site.

Mexican Lasagna

This is a regular on our menu. Like other reviewers, I always add refried beans on top of the first layer of tortillas. You can add all your favorite toppings. Very good and filling.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

These were awesome!!! My family loved them. I used my Pampered Chef cookie scoop and had 34 cookies, you may want to double the bach. You won't be disappointed. The only changes I made were to add 1/4 cup more flour and baked them for about 12 minutes until cookies started to crackle. They turned out perfect, very soft and chewy.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

My family loved this. The only changes I made were to add fresh sauted mushrooms when I added the cream cheese at the end. I only used 1/2 the amount the recipe called for. I also added about 1/2 soup can of chicken broth. Served it over angel hair pasta. Very Good! Can't wait to make it again.
