Nacho Cheese Sauce

A good quick, easy (and cheap!) cheese sauce. I originally made as a "nacho" cheese and was dissapointed. I thought it was too thick and lacking flavor. On veggies, however, it is terrific! MY VERDICT: great for veggies; not so great as a nacho cheese.

Rempel Family Meatloaf

AMAZED! My husband hates, and I mean HATES all meatloaf...except this one! I followed the directions except omitted the onion soup. Served with brown gravy and mashed potatoes. Yum! A thousand "Thank Yous" for finally getting meatloaf into my dinner rotation!

Kelsey's Cheesy Bacon Breasts

This was pretty good, a nice summer dish you can make anytime. I didn't pre-cook the chicken, just lightly seasoned, then mixed the BBQ and mustard together and put on top; cooked bacon until just crisp before baking. I didn't add the cheese until the last 10min or so, then broiled for a min. Turned out good. The juice/sauce was great on mashed potatoes. I will make again. Thanks!

Sandy's Casserole

Yummy! My picky family loves this. CHANGES: 1 can Cream Chicken and 1 can Cream Mushroom. Also, I added garlic and onion powder to the mixture. I've made several times with NO under-cooked noodles (I use elbow or rotini). Just cover with foil for 30min, stir and uncover for remainder. Great w/ cracker topping! Thanks for this easy recipe!

Fruit Salad Dessert

Yum! I loved this fruit salad growing up, and hadn't tasted it in years -- since I'd attended church potlucks as a child. It is a real treat that I can now share with my family. Didn't change a thing and it was perfect. Thanks.

No-Peek Beef Stew

This recipe was very tasty (even my picky hubby liked it)! I used cream of potato instead of mushroom, and browned the meat before cooking as suggested by a few others. Also, I added potatoes and veggies we like. I cooked on high for about 6 hours, and it was perfect, no need to thicken at all.
