Bread, shrimp, muffins; macaroni and cheese, salads, any chocolate dessert; cheese cake and shortbread; roasted veggies.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom taught me to make chili con carne at a very early age, although I have changed a few things, I still make it "like Mum did".
My mother-in-law made wonderful stews, so I have taken it to a different level with a slow-cooker and perfected it.
My cooking triumphs
Making my own cheesey breadsticks from a modified shortbread recipe.
Making cream cheese stuffed-bacon wrapped baked poblano peppers my signature dish with many meals.

Cookies - I can't bake cookies!!
First few times I roasted veggies they were either hard as rocks or so mushy they would make great baby food!
