About this Cook
Hello, My Name Is Emily. I am 21 Years Old. I at the Moment still live With my Parents and I am waiting to get married in May where I will then go to Fort Bragg where My future husband is getting stationed. In the Mean time I am doing different secretary jobs but mostly stationary as my church secretary. I have always enjoyed cooking, i beleive I inhereted the Cooking skills from my mother. I am the one who knows how to cook with my friends. I cook meals all the time for my Fiance and Family.
My favorite things to cook
I like honestly to make Macaroni and Cheese( not from the box, from scratch) I am very good with meat such as chicken and steak. My boyfriend is often on the Carb Diet to make Army standards so i am now an expert at no carb food.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My Mom taught herself to cook so i guess we really dont have any but she is still the best cook in town.
My cooking triumphs
I guess the biggest hit i have had so far is at church potlucks when i have made Monte Cristo and Indian tacos
My cooking tragedies
I made a Gumbo and it called for one bag of Success rice (which is one of those microwave bags very small) well I put in an entire bag of a normal bag of rice lets just say when it cam out it was not a soup.

Greek Penne and Chicken
I Used the Marinated Artichoke hearts, I merinated the chicken in a olive oil and Thousand Island dressing for about 10 hours ( wanted to use Italian but thought this was close enough) teh only other thing I did differently is to make it a little more creamier I made a Butter/flour Roux and then slowely added some cream and milk about a cup waited for that to thicken and then added the feta cheese leaving about 1/4 cup to sprinkle on top. It was amazing.. will make over and over again.

Iced Coffee
This was very good, but next time I will use half the sweetend condensed milk, maybe alittle less water more coffee, more ice, the tastes was fine ( besides a little too sweet) just needed a more icy consistancy

Clone of a Cinnabon
I tried freezing these and they did turn out very well just make sure you watch them when they start turning brown cause they go from light brown to black fast. frosting was amazing I added a little orange flavoring to it
