I am officially a newlywed (again)! I am very happy to be married again and have acquired some new picky eaters into the family! I have a daughter who has graduated and moved off to college and have (now) 3 kids living at home. One with a very high dairy allergy. SO....I am always on the lookout for dairy-free recipes that will appeal to an 11-year old! I also have a 4-legged baby, my Golden Retriever, Lady. I love trying new recipes! It really helps me to have pictures of the items I cook. Since my mom didn't really show me how to cook, I am really trying to teach my teenage daughter. I think it is important for kids to learn how to cook something other than Macaroni & Cheese (Kraft style!). I love cooking something new that seemed difficult to prepare or cook and to have my family eat up every last bite! I had my church group over for a Christmas party and I tried a new technique on turkey and the turkey wasn't ready in time. Needless to say, we wound up getting fast food (fried chicken). I was mortified!
