I'm a college student that's finally out of a dorm and has a real kitchen. While I've always enjoyed baking, I'm expanding my horizons and starting to cook meals beyond chicken parmesan and tacos!

Easter Egg Nests
Incredibly cute, and great if you're just going for looks. However, people were kind of unsure of what the nests were and were hesitant to eat them.

Simple Sugar Cookies
The powdered sugar gave these cookies a different texture than I'm used to, but I followed the recipe exactly and they turned out quite well! If you like crispy sugar cookies, I'd definitely recommend trying these!

Sugar Cookie Slices
Great recipe! I used a non-dairy margarine to make these safe for a friend with allergies, and they turned out wonderful! I didn't roll or chill the dough and instead made drop cookies, each about a rounded teaspoon. With this method, I didn't have any problems with crumbly dough like the other reviews mentioned.
