Sukhothai Pad Thai

Great recipe - very tasty. One important change I made though is instead of dried radish I used chili pickled radish and just chopped up a few tablespoons of it. It adds some more spice. Other than that, I thought this was a great recipe.

Cajun Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2008
Extremely tasty. I did make a few altercations however: I doubled the spices like a lot of other reviewers did, and I sauteed one dose of the spices in the butter before putting in anything else, and I put the second dose of spices in where the recipe says to. Other than that, I followed the recipe pretty closely - I would highly recommend.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2008
Delicious and spicy and soft. I added chocolate chips, which complimented the pumpkin well. It seemed to work better for me as muffins (my oven gets really hot and the top of it in loaf form burned before the middle was done). My friends who normally don't even like pumpkin bread seemed to enjoy it.

Chicken Tortilla Soup V

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2008
Delicious - but it's very important to use a type of salsa that you really like cause it makes a big difference in the taste. I ate this soup leftover for four days. I would very highly recommend it.

Emerald Green Risotto

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2008
Extremely delicious and filling and surprisingly cheesy considering how little cheese actually goes into it. It takes quite a while to make (you don't want to cut corners with risotto or the rice doesn't cook right), but it's more than worth it. It is also very good leftover.

Spicy Basil Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2008
I absolutely LOVE this recipe. It's become my stand-by and I make a ton of it, mix it in with rice, and eat it left over for days. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I didn't find it too salty and I follow the recipe almost exactly. It's very spicy, which I really like, but if you don't like spicy quite as much, add more white rice. I would HIGHLY recommend this recipe.

The Real Mojito

Awesome Mojito. It's really easy to adjust to make pitchers - I made it for a party of about forty people and I was making pitcher after pitcher. I followed the recipe exactly and everyone seemed to like it.

Millie Pasquinelli's Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2008
Absolutely incredible fried chicken. Nice and crispy on the outside and very tender on the outside. If you're cooking on an electric stove, make sure to be super careful when lowering the heat and covering the pan because the stove takes a while to cool down and the oil could overflow (not much fun to clean up). I don't make any other fried chicken anymore - this one is just so amazing!

Gypsy Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2008
Extremely tasty and surprisingly easy to make. I followed the recipe closely, but I let it simmer for almost an hour, which allowed the vegetables and potatoes to soften. I absolutely love this soup.

Baked Pork Spring Rolls

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2008
Simply fantastic. I used extremely thin spring roll wrappers and they turned out super crispy - people had a hard time believing they weren't fried! Very good and I would really recommend them (but they do take a while - it's very important that everything gets chopped up very small).

Yakitori Don

Very tasty - I've made this many, many times. The only real different I made is that I doubled the sauce. The recipe works for chicken or steak or beef strips. I would definitely recommend.

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2007
I've never had a chili I liked better - the combination of tastes is great. It takes a while to prep (LOTS of chopping), but it's more than worth it. I wouldn't change a thing.
