Mother of 3 wonderful children here to find foods to keep everyone in the family quiet including their very picky father :)! I love to bake. Desserts are my specialty, but i can cook anything. I feel that if you can read, you can cook! I have a family full of cooks, so we all get together and sample each other's dishes. My mother's 58th birthday party. We had a crowd and I cooked most of it by myself and everyone liked everything. lol the 1st time i tried to make a pumpkin pie. I always told everyone I didn't like pumpkin pie(never tasted it looked to much like sweet potato)and my mother in law made one and my hubby made me try it and i ate almost the whole pie. Well when i got home i called her and asked for the recipe and she tried giving it to me over the phone. MY pie came out a complete mushy mess!
