About this Cook
Since I was a little kid I've loved to cook. As a teenager I worked in a kitchen and did catering, allowing more exposure to different techniques and foods. In my free time I'm in the kitchen cooking my favorites and trying new recipes.
My favorite things to cook
Banana bread, anything for breakfast, enchiladas, and other Mexican food, BBQing.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Unfortunately I don't have any family cooking traditions however I plan to begin some when I have children.
My cooking triumphs
I finally learned how to how to fry!
My cooking tragedies
Marinated vegetables. That one didn't work so well.

Easy Pancakes
Great basic recipe- per other reviews used 2t baking powder and 1/2 salt. Added about a cup of blueberries, and another 1/2 of flour because the batter was thin. Will make again.

Southern Peach Cobbler
Yummy! I've made this twice now- the first time almost to a "t" and then the second time I made the following changes: I increased the dough by half, and waited till 5 mins before taking it out of the oven to put the cinnamon sugar on- this way and doesn't burn/brown. I will make this one over and over again! Thanks!

Chicken Cacciatore
Great recipe! Hubby doesn't do onions so I omitted those, used fresh garlic, added a fresh jalepeno, used mexican stewed tomatoes because it was what I had on hand. Will definately make again!
