My favorite family cooking traditions
English Southern on my Mom's Side: Country Hams, applesauce cake, greens, green beans and fresh fruits and veggies too. English German on my Dad's City Side: Saur Beef and Dumplings (not my favorite), Corned Beef, Pot Pies, The seafood Crabs and Oysters are from being a Marylander. My Dad grew up in Baltimore.

Gingerbread Boys
OUTSTANDING! I did alter the recipe but it was still SOOOO GOOOD! The first gingerbread men I ever made and the whole family enjoyed them.

Cranberry Pumpkin Bread
Kind of blah. I used 2 eggs and added 1/4 cup more sugar. The texture was also a little weird.
