Best Brownies
The first time I made this recipe I didn't plan on icing as I like fudgy brownies without icing. They came out tasting like stale cake, but figured it was my error since it has such raving reviews. I read through the reviews and made a second attempt, this time making sure I didn't over mix them. They turned out exactly the same. I thought if I added the icing it might save this batch, but the icing recipe is too thick and brittle to even spread. Literally, I could tap the top of it with a knife and it would make a "clacking" sound. I tried, I really did. I gave it a second chance...but I won't make these again.
