Playgroup Granola Bars
I wanted to make something for back to school care packages for my nephews and this got the nod. Not too sweet and chewier than your usual granola bar. I used a 9x11 inch pan so they were slightly thicker than the picture. My marathon runner husband loved them and immediately requested more as did our puppies!

Baked Pineapple Casserole
Even people who don't like sweet side dishes LOVE this! It is a staple in our house with ham for the holidays. I do use butter instead of margarine and add 3 more slices of bread than the recipe calls for but the flavor is wonderful.

Triple-Cheese Macaroni
I am still searching for the PERFECT southern mac and cheese but this is close! I like a little less mustard taste in mine and will try again with white cheese. Texture was really good and the taste was delish!
