My whole family loved this dish. I too took the advice of other reviewers to make the dish better. I used a combo of cream of chicken, cream of mushroom, and cream of celery. I added parsley, poultry seasoning, garlic, onion powder, and celery. After 4 hours on high I took the chicken breasts out and shredded them. I then returned them to the pot, and added some frozen peas and carrots. Before cutting the dumplings, dredge the bisuits in flour. This will thicken up the sauce substantially while it cooks. I then cooked it for another hour and 15 minutes till the dumplings were the way I like them. This dish is fabulous!

I loved the orange flavor. It's very strong. My only complaint as well was that the dough is not workable as is. It is too sticky. I added quite a bit of extra powdered sugar until the dough was no longer sticky. These are fabulous!

This is a great recipe! To make it better I use 8oz of cream cheese, and approx 1/3 cup of chopped onion in place of the chives. Sprinkle a little garlic and onion powder and it tastes great! Also, it says to cook for 30 minutes, however, after being refrigerated, it almost always takes 45-1 hour to get heated throughout when making a full baking dish. Tastes best when allowed to sit in the refrigerater for 24 hours before cooking.
