I have made this pie for the last 4 yaers for my husband at christmas he claimes that it is just like the pie his Grandma made him when he was younger, I serve it with Cool-whip and everybody loves it. This is the only sweet potato pie recipe I will use.

Buckeyes I
I make these every year but the recipe needs a bit of tweaking, first start with 4 cups confectioners sugar, then add more as needed some days more seems to be needed and sometimes less is needed, if the dough is real sticky then add more but you don't want the dough to be too dry because then they won't hold their shape well and tend to fall apart, add parafin to the chocolate it gives it a better shine and holds better, if you don't they get soft fast, I also love to make these using Butterscotch chips, or peanut butter chips, I always have all threee on hand every christmas. It just wouldn't be Christmas without all three varieties of Buckeyes.

Cola Pork Chops
My mother used to make this from a recipe book that she picked up at a garage sale once called Cooking With Coca-Cola. She lost the biik 12 years ago when she moved so when I saw the recipe I was so excited. My mom used it on ribs, chicken, pork chops and any thing else she could think of in the book it was called Cola Barbeque, thank you for posting this wonderful recipe I can get my five year old to start eating meat again.
